As a risk management consultant, Barzin’s livelihood depends on his ability to effectively communicate with his clients and cross-functional teams. That understanding of the importance of ability to communicate is what drove Barzin to want to help ensure that children with speech and hearing difficulties were supported in their early and formational years, so that all opportunities in life were available to them in their future. Barzin has a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a MBA with a finance major from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Barzin has provided consulting services for hundreds of businesses, as well as NPOs. He is currently an executive with a major commercial insurance brokerage, operating a growing and top performing team. He brings over 12 years of experience in commercial risk management and a wealth of knowledge. Barzin’s contribution of finance and risk management know how are highly valuable as the Hearing and Speech Centre of BC navigate the years to come.
