Tele-Services

Children’s Hearing now offers two NEW direct tele-services* anywhere in BC for children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.

The first steps…

You know of an infant or toddler who has a hearing loss? You know of a pre-Kindergarten child who is deaf and will be enrolling in your school? You have a student in high school with a hearing loss?

Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC (Children’s Hearing) are specialists in auditory-oral deaf education who provide direct language and listening support to students through an innovative program. The program is designed to bring listening and spoken language therapy and education services to families and children regardless of where they live. For many parents of children with hearing loss, specialized therapy and education services are often not accessible due to distance or lack of qualified professionals in their community.

Whether your child is newly identified with hearing loss or is a student in Kindergarten to Grade 12, we have direct tele- services for them in their home community.

If your child/student has a hearing loss, contact us at 604-437-0255 to discuss what services they could benefit from.
