Independent Community Events

Feeling inspired to help deaf and hard of hearing children learn to listen and speak?  Why not host your own fundraiser to support Children's Hearing & Speech Centre of BC (CHSC).   

Funds raised are used to support crucial educational and clinical programmes and services for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Your contribution helps Hearing & Speech Centre of BC with: Education, Audiology equipment, Fine Arts, Auditory-Verbal Therapy and Music Therapy to name a few.

The cost of sending a child through our specialized programme far exceeds the amount we receive through grants or tuition fees. Children's Hearing & Speech Centre of BC maintains a policy of never turning a child away due to a parent's ability to pay. Families who cannot afford specialized services are the beneficiaries of our bursary programme to ensure their child has the best possible educational and health supports. 

Children's Hearing and Speech Centre of BC's has an Independent Community Events package which includes an application form and guidelines to help you plan and host a successful fundraising event.
