Auditory Verbal Therapist

Join an exciting team of auditory-oral/auditory-verbal deaf education specialists serving children in British Columbia.

Children's Hearing & Speech Centre of BC, requires an Auditory-Verbal Therapist to support our growing AVT programme.  Our new tele-intervention initiative "A Sound Move" is underway to bring AVT services to families and infants in remote and Northern communities. This is a Vancouver area-based position however some travel will be required.

Preferred qualifications include certification as an AV Therapist or AV Educator including Masters (M.A., M.Ed., MSc.). Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with Masters degree in the field, with appropriate experience, interested in gaining AVT certification are also encouraged to apply. Successful criminal record check and valid driver's licence are required.  Competitive salary, based on experience/qualifications and comprehensive benefits package.
